Required Answer:-

The membrane of Bowman's capsule is semipermeable?

True

The Bowman's capsule is a cup like structure protecting the bundle of blood capillaries- Glomerulus. The basement membrane is Semi-Permeable in nature to filter out and let in smaller solutes and molecules and the solvent. It doesn't allows the larger molecules.

It basically helps to make sure that only small substances pass through. And the larger proteins or other largermolecules bounce back through the basement membrane. The larger molecules includes proteins, blood cells and the smaller molecules included ions, glucose, amino acids etc. The entire process taking place is known as Ultrafiltration.
