The membrane of endoplasmic reticulum consists of 2 layers- protein-lipid. it is organelles. eukaryotic cells are organised with Cell center and Palatal layers which have endoplasmic reticulam, Golgi body, Lysozomes, microtubules, mitochondria etc.

Endoplasmic reticulam is spread in Whole cell area. it joined with Cell membrane and Cell Center membrane.

Which endoplasmic reticulam have mitochondria in outer surface it called ROUGH ENDOPLASMIC RETICULAM.
