Volume of the 1st cube whose each side is 3cm = 27 cu.cm

Volume of the 2nd cube whose each side is 4cm = 64 cu.cm

Volume of the 3rd cube whose each side is 5cm = 125 cu.cm

Total volume of the three cubes = 216 cu.cm

Therefore length of each side of the new cube formed by melting the three cubes = 6 cm.

And, surface area of the new cube = 6 × 6 = 36 sq.cm
