Answer:

Al

Explanation:

this is because Aluminum only reacts with steam not water to Produce hydrogen

it does not react with cold water it reacts with steam

OTHERS THAT DONT REAC T WITH COLD WATER TO PRODUCE HYDROGEN ARE

  • Magnesium
  • Iron
  • Zinc
  • Aluminum

those are the ones

thank you for asking may God bless

Answer: The metal which does not react with cold water to liberated hydrogen gas is Al ( Aluminium

Explanation: If we look into the metal activity series we will find that aluminium is placed at the bottom of the series. That is because it is chemically very inert. On the other hand Sodium, Potassium and Calcium are placed at  higher positions in the activity series. So they can easily react with cold water to liberated hydrogen.

The basis of the metal activity series is the standard reduction potential, lower the value of the potential higher will be its chemical activity.

In case of Aluminium, it does not reacts with cold water but it can reacts with steam to produce hydrogen gas.

Apart from Al, Fe and Zn also not reacts with cold water.

Al + H2OAl2O3 + H2
