Magnalium is an alloy of aluminium with magnesium and some trace amount of copper, nickel etc. It has high strength, low density and greater resistance than aluminium and so it is used in aircraft and automobiles.

Whereas, duralumin is the  alloy of mainly copper ,manganese, magnesium and aluminium in which 93.5 % is aluminium. It is susceptible to corrosion and these alloys are also used as aircraft parts, corrosion resistant materials etc.

The answer is Manganese as both duralumin and magnalium are alloys containing aluminium
