There lived mice in a house. There was also a cat living in the house. They are afraid of the cat so they hold a meeting. One of the mice proposes to tie a bell around the cat's neck so as the cat comes to eat them, they immediately hear the sound of the bell jingling and they are given time to run away.

Everyone agrees to this idea- but there is one problem- who is to bell the cat? No mouse offers as they didnt want to sacrifice themselves as they know that they will be immediately eaten once they bell the cat. The cat appears and all run away. Title- Belling the cat
