The microscope in the diagram has a X10 eyepiece lens. What does this mean?​

X ocular magnification. Do for 10X objective and 10X ocular, Total magnification 10*10 = 100 X. ( this means that the image being viewed will appear to be 100 times its actual size). For a 40 X objective and 10 X ocular,

Total magnification = 10*40=400X.
