Answer: C (1, 2a+1 ) is mid point of line segments joining the A ( 2a,4) and

B (-2, 3b)

By mid point formula

X= x1 + x2 / 2. And Y = y1 + y2 /2

For X coordinate

1 =( 2a -2)/2

2 = 2a -2

4 2a.

a = 2 ...................(1)

For y coordinate

2a+1 = (4+3b) /2

4a +2 = 4 + 3b

4a-3b = 2 .......,.....(2)

Put value of from equation (1) into the equation no. (2)

4×2 -3b = 2

-3b = 2-8

- 3b = -6

b = 2

So the vale of a and b are (2 , 2)

Answer:

(1,2a+1)=  2a-2/2, 4+3b/2

Step-by-step explanation:

2a-2/2 =  1

2a-2= 2

2a= 4

a= 2

4+3b/2  =  2a+1

4+3b/2  = 2(2)+1

4+3b= 10

3b= 6

b=6/3

b=2
