The middle part of the western coastal plain is names as "Kanara"
Kanara's total length is about 300 kilometers. And this area includes the 3 destrict of coast areas.
The western coastal plain is actually divided in to total of 3 parts  and is located between the west coast of the country(india) and  western Ghats.The other parts includes the northern and southern part known as Konkan and Malabar coast respectively.
These all areas include Gujarat and goes  towards the Kerala.

The Kanara stretch is located in Karnataka and features the three districts of North Kanara, South Kanara and Udipi district. This region extends over a length of 300km/190 mi and has a width of 30 to 100 km (19 to 68 mi).
