x1 = -4. x2 = ?

y1 = -8 y2 = ?

BY MIDPOINT FORMULA,

(11,-5) = (x1 + x2; y1 + y2)

2. 2

11, -5 = ( -4 + x2 , -8 + y2 )

2. 2

11 , -5 = ( -2 + x2 , -4 + y2 )

therefore 11 = -2 + x2

11 + 2 = x2

13 = x2

therefore x2 = 6.5

5 = -4 + y2

5 + 4 = y2

9 = y2

therefore y2 = 4.5

Therefore; (x2, y2) = (6.5,4.5)
