The minimum and maximum distances of a planet revolving around sun are r and R. If the minimum speed of planet on its trajectory is v0, its maximum speed will be:- a) v0R/r b) v0r/R c) v0R2/r2 d) v0r2/R2

according to the Kelper's law of planetary motion
v1/v2 = r2/r1

so,
maximum speed = vm
than,
V0/ Vm= R/r
Vm = r/R x V0

so the option 2 is correct

According to the Kelper’s law of planetary motion that is taking place with V1/V2 and consider r2/r1.

Therefore, this is taking at maximum speed and denotes vm than takes VO/Vm=R/r.

Then, Vm=r/RxVO.

So, VOr/Rc is the right solution.

It denotes minimum and maximum distances of a planet revolving around sun r and R.
