Minimum no.of directors
Section 149 of the Company's Act 2013,has fixed the minimum no.of directors which a company must have . These are different for different type of companies as stated as hereunder
a) A public company must have ATLEAST 3 DIRECTORS.
b) A private company must have at least 2 directors.
MAXIMUM NO.OF DIRECTORS
Sec 149 has also fixed the maximum no.of directors which a company must have. This section makes the following provisions in this regard
a) A company can have maximum of 15 directors.
b) A company may also appoint more than 15 directors after passing a special resolution.
