Angle made by minute hand in 12 min =

→ θ = 12×6

→ θ = 72°

Length of minute hand is working as radius of circle , therefore

→ Radius of circle = 10 cm

Arc made by minute hand in 20 min = 2πr × θ/360°

→ 2 × 22/7 × 10 × 72/360

→ 20 × 22/7 × 1/5

→ 4 × 22/7

→ 88/7

→ 12.57 cm
