angle made by minute hand on moving 1 min =360/60
=6°
ar of sector made=6×45/360×π×r×r
=0.75×615.7
= 461.81

the minute hand of clock is 14cm
it moves 8:00 am to 8:45 am
total angle of clock covered by minute hand= (360-90)°=270°
area of clock = π×(r)2
= π×(14)2
= 615.75 m2
area of covered by it on the face of clock
= {(angle of covered by minute hand)/(total angle of clock)}× area of clock
= {(270/360)}×615.75
= 0.75×615.75
= 461.81 cm2
