As the angle between the every 5min in a clock is 30°
so, in 20min the angle will be 4×30=120°
as, 120° is 1/3 of 360° ( that is the whole swept ) ---------1
as we know that, area of clock with radius 15cm
is given by,
2π(r)^2
2×22/7×225. (15^2= 225)
1415cm square
now, from eq. 1 we get,
1/3 of 1415=1/3×1415
=471.6cm square
