radius=21cm
1 minute=1 whole rotation in the clock
5 minutes=5 whole rotation in the clock
area of 5 rotations=5×area of 1 rotation
area of 1 rotation = \pi \: {r}^{2}
=22/7 ×21×21
=1386 cm^2
area of 5 rotations=5×area of 1 rotation
area of 5 rotations=5×1386
=6930cm^2

hello1939: hi
girisankar: 5 minute = 1 whole rotation of clock what are you saying it is 5 minute not 5 hour
hello1939: question is for big hand
girisankar: use area of sector method

In 5 minutes the area swept is 115.5 cm^

the photo below is the solution for the question and the below text is the proof for the answer.

i hope it helps

:-)

proof for answer

area of circle or clock = πr²

                                    = 22/7 * 21 * 21

                                    = 1356 sq.cm²

divide it by answer

= 1356 / 115.5

= 12

i.e 12 parts of the clock

plz mark as brainliest

hello1939: wrong answer
hello1939: (22/7)×21×21 is not equal to 1356 it is 1386
girisankar: sorrry for that mistake u are right 1386
girisankar: then 1386/115.5=12
