kogiven,
Minute hand=7 cm
since the clock is a circle and the minute hand will be the radius
therefore,C= 2×22/7×7
=44 cm
there fore the distance of from 9 am to 9 30
am will be
Total distance - distance in 15 min
44 - 1/4 ×44(as 15 min is 1/4 of 60 min)
44 - 11
33 cm
Now displacement = shortest distance
join 9 am and 9 30am it will make a right angled triangle
there fore, displacement =
 \sqrt{ {7}^{2}  +  {7}^{2} }
 \sqrt{49 + 49 } \\ \sqrt{98} \\
=9.8 cm

tdm10: no problem
gaurav337: thank you

Answer:

In order to change what is on the outside, you must first change what is on the inside.
