Minute hand clock move in 1 hour = circumference of that clock and that clock will be circular.

so,as you know that circumference of circular figure =2πr.

=)2*22/7*1.4

=)44*0.2

=)8.8 m

⇒ It completes a full rotation in one hour.

The distance traveled in one hour = The circumference of the circle made by the minute hand.

The circumference of a circle with radius r = 2πr

So, the circumference of a circle with a radius of 1.4 m = 2 X π X 1.4

Taking π = 3.14,

The circumference = 8.79 m ≈ 8.8m

Hence, the minute hand travels a distance of 8.8m.
