Angle made by minute hand in 15 minutes = 15×360/60
= 15×6

= 90°

Area of sector = ∅/360×πr²

= 90/360×22/7× 10.5 × 10.5

= 86.725cm²

Answer:

The area swept by the minute hand is 86.625 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

∅ = 360/60 = 6.

Angle covered in 15 minutes = 15×6 = 90°

Area of the sector swept by the minute hand = ∅/360 × πr² = 90/360 × 22/7 × (10.5)² = 693/8 = 86.625 cm².
