Length of hands of clock = 10 cm.
Angle subtended by the mintue hand of a clock for 1 minute = 6degrees [ because one total revolution has 360 deg and each revoluton implies 60 minutes]
Angle subtended for 35 min = 35*6 = 210 degree
Area of sector = theta/360*pie*r²
A = 210/360*22/7*10*10
A = 183.3cm²
