The search light produces and intense paralle beam of lightmThis requires a reflector of large aperture. when a source of light is placed at the focus o large concave mirror only the paraxial rays reflected as parellel beam but when a source is placed at the focus of a parabolic mirror then all the rays are reflected as intense parelle beam.
