It can also be expressed as an inproper fraction. An improper fraction is where the numerator is larger than the denominator.

In order to convert it, multiply the whole numbers by the denominator, then add the numerator. Keep the denominator the same though.

So: (2 x 7) + 4

= 18

= 18/7
