Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

ANSWER:

What is Mode?

The term or a number which occurs more number of times in a given sequence is called mode.

Given:

Mode for sequence 3,4,5,x is 5,

In this case:

  • 3 occuring 1 time
  • 4 occuring 1 time
  • 5 occuring one time but is mode.

Hence, 5 must be more than one in the sequence.

So, x = 5.

Why?

Because x is a constant which is also occurring one time. To make 5 a mode we need another 5 that can be placed in terms of x.

More terms:

MEAN:

The sum of total terms by given number of terms is called mean.

MEDIAN:

The term which is in between of a sequence is median.

Given that:

  • Mode of 3,4,5 and x is 5

To Find:

  • Value of x.

Concept Used:

  • Mode is defined as the number repeated most time for a given ungrouped data.

Eg. For a,b,c,d,a,e,f , the mode will be a because it is being repeat two times.

SOLUTION:

Since, ATQ, we have

Mode for 3,4,5,x is 5.

So, it means that 5 has to repeat.

Therefore, x = 5.

So, the value of x will be 5.

Hope this helps
