Following given data,
Mode of the distribution = 55
Class interval = h =15
Lower limit of modal class = L = 45
Preceding frequency = a = 5
Succeeding frequency = b = 10
Modal class frequency = m = ?

As per formula, Mode = L + (m-a)h/ 2m-a-b
So 55. = 45 + (m-5)15/2m-5-10
So 20m - 150 = 15m - 75
So 5m = 75
Finally m = 15

Thus frequency of modal class = m = 15.

Answer:

heya

Mode = 55

Modal class = 45 - 60

Frequency of the class preceding = f1 = 5

Frequency of the class succeeding the modal class = f2 = 10

Let the frequency of modal class be f
