Yes because of our Indian farmers are using more pesticides, insecticides, fertilizers. They harm the soil. They. are using it for getting more production and selling the crop to other countries. If we use more fertilizers to our crop it gives a nice crop 1st time and 2nd time. But after 20 to 30 years it stops yeilding. And it is harmful to human also as we are not washing the vegetables and fruits after buying them from the market. The fertilizers, pesticides insecticides present on the fruits and vegetables will goes in to our digestive system and damages it.
