Solution boils at 102.6 degree C.

Solution:- It's a elevation in boiling point problem solved by using the equation:

where, i is Van't hoff factor, m is molality and kb is the molal elevation constant.

Sugar is molecular compound so the value of i for it is 1.

we have 1 mol of sugar dissolved in 200 g that is 0.2 kg of water. So, the molality of the solution =

molality of solution = 5m

kb = 0.513

Let's plug in the values in the formula:

= 2.6

Normal boiling point of water is 100 degree C. So, the boiling point of the sugar solution would be = 100 + 2.6 = 102.6 degree C

Thats the answer
