Given:

Moles of glucose = 0.015

Quantity of water = 30g

To Find:

Molality of Glucose when dissolved in water

Solution:

Molar mass of water = 18 gm

Moles of water = 30/18 = 1.66

Molar mass of glucose = 180 gm

Moles of glucose = 0.015

Molality = moles of solute × 1000/ Mass of solvent

Molality = 0.015 × 1000/30

= 0.5

Answer: The molality of glucose is  0.5 mol / kg
