Density of sulphuric acid= 1.8 g/ml

Percentage of sulphuric acid= 98%

So vol. of sulphuric acid in sol.=98/100= 0.98 ml

Than mass of sulphuric acid= density*volume

= 1.8*0.98 = 1.76 g

No. Of moles = mass in grams/ m. Mass

No. Of moles = 1.76/98 =0.018 mol

Molarity = no. Of moles/ vol in dm3

Molarity= 0.018/0.001

Molarity= 18 molar
