Answer:

Mass of NaOH (m) = 1g. The volume of water (V) = 250 ml. Mol. wt of NaOH (m) = 40g/mol. Molarity (M) =M×V(ml)m×1000 .

Answer:

molarity=0.1 M

Explanation:

voloume of solution= 250ml

= 250/1000L

=0.25L

mass in gram. = 1.0 gm

molarity= no of moles of solute/ total voloume in litres

no of moles= mass in gram/ molecular mass

``the molecular mass of NaOH is 40``

no of moles = 1.0 / 40

= 0.025moles

hence:

molarity= 0.025/0.25

molarity= 0.1 M
