Given - Volume of solutions - 50 ml and 100 ml

Molarity of solutions - 0.1 M and 0.2 M

Find - Molarity of resulting solution

Solution - Molarity of resulting solution can be calculated by the relation - M1V1 + M2V2 = MV. Here, M 1 and M2 are molarity of initial solutions and V1 and V2 are volumes of initial solutions. M and V are resultant molarity and volume of solution.

Resultant solution will have volume = 50 + 100

Volume of resultant solution = 150 ml

Now keeping the values in mentioned formula to find the molarity of resultant solution.

0.1*50 + 0.2*100 = M*150

5 + 20 = M*150

25 = M*150

M = 25/150

M = 1/6 M

Hence, Molarity of resultant solution will have b) M/6.
