molality of the aqueous solution is 13.88 mol/Kg

mole fraction of a solvent in aqueous solution of a solute is , X_solvent = 0.8

then mole fraction of solvent , X_solute = 0.2

in aqueous solution, solvent is water.

molar mass of water in kg , M = 18/1000 kg

using formula, molality = x_solute/x_solvent × M

= 0.2/(0.8 × 18/1000)

= 0.2 × 1000/(0.8 × 18)

= 200/14.4

≈ 13.88 mol/Kg

☆ Molality (m) is defined as the number of moles of solute per kilogram of solvent.

☆ Molarity is a measurement of the moles in the total volume of the solution, whereas molality is a measurement of the moles in relationship to the mass of the solvent.
