Atomic mass of C (carbon) is 12g/mol, H (hydrogen) is 1g/mol and O (Oxygen) is 16g/mol
So, molecular mass of CH3OH or CH4O is
= 1 × mass of C + 4 × mass of H + 1 × Mass of O
= (1 × 12 + 4 × 1 + 1 × 16) g/mol
= (12 + 4 + 16) g/mol
= 32g/mol
So, molecular mass of CH3OH or CH4O is
= 1 × mass of C + 4 × mass of H + 1 × Mass of O
= (1 × 12 + 4 × 1 + 1 × 16) g/mol
