The molecular formula of tartaric acid is C4H6O6 and the molar mass of tartaric acid is
150.086 g/mol. How do you work out the molar mass?

C4 = 12 × 4 = 48

H6 = 6 × 1 = 6

O6 = 16×6 = 96

48 + 6 + 96 = 150

So molar mass of tartaric acid is 150g / mol
