The molecular weight of o2o2 and so2so2 are 32 and 64 respectively. If one litre of o2o2 at 15oc15oc and 750 mm pressure contains 'n' molecules, the number of molecules in two litres of so2so2 under the same conditions of temperature and pressure will be

From ideal gas equation.
We have PV = nRT,
Moles for O2⇒PVRT⇒1×1RTO2⇒PVRT⇒1×1RT
No. of molecules,
N=NaRTN=NaRT...(1)
For SO2SO2,
Moles of SO2⇒PVRT⇒1×2RTSO2⇒PVRT⇒1×2RT
No. of molecules,
M=2NaRTM=2NaRT........(2)
Dividing both the equation. we get,
NM=12NM=12
M = 2N
I think it is correct if it is wrong plz forgive me........
