the molecules of an ideal gas has R.M.S speed of 520 m/s calculate the R.M.s speed of the molecule of a temperature of 100 degrees Celsius​

The rms speed of a gas is given by crms=M03RT.

Hence crms∝T.

Hence when the speed of molecules becomes 3v, the tempearture of gas must becomes thrice of the initial value.

Thus T′=3×(100+273)

=1119K

=846∘C
