Hello

Momentum1 of body = mv1 = P
Kinetic Energy = E
Now,
Momentum2 of body = mv2 = 2P
mv2/mv1 = 2P/P
=> v2/v1 = 2
So v2 becomes two times of v1.
Hence
New Kinetic Energy = 1/2*mv^2 = 1/2*m*2*2 = 2E
