Given Kinetic Energy = momentum ---- (i)
We know that K.E = 1/2 mv^2, Momentum = mv ----------- (ii)
Apply (ii) in (i)
= 1/2 mv^2 = mv
= 1/2 m * v * v = mv
= 1/2 v = 1
v = 2
So, the velocity of the particle i.e v = 2.
Hope this helps!

Momentum = mv
Kinetic energy = 0.5mv^2
Both are numerically equal
mv = 0.5mv^2
v = 1/0.5
v = 2
Velocity of particle is 2 m/s (if taken in SI units)
Kinetic energy = 0.5mv^2
Both are numerically equal
mv = 0.5mv^2
v = 1/0.5
v = 2
