Given Information,

Momentum (p) = 500Kg m/s

Mass of the Particle (m) = 5 Kg

We know that,

Momentum = Mass × Velocity

 \sf p = m \times v \\   \\  \longrightarrow \sf v =  \dfrac{p}{m}

Also,

Kinetic Energy = 1/2 × Mass × (Velocity)²

 \sf K =  \dfrac{1}{2}  {mv}^{2}  \\  \\  \longrightarrow \sf K =  \dfrac{1}{2}  \times m \times  (\dfrac{p}{m} ) {}^{2}  \\  \\  \longrightarrow  \boxed{ \boxed{\sf K =  \dfrac{ {p}^{2} }{2m} }}

Substituting the values, we obtain :

\longrightarrow \sf K =  \dfrac{1}{2}  \times  \dfrac{500}{5}  \times 500 \\  \\ \longrightarrow \sf K =  \dfrac{1}{2}  \times 100 \times 500 \\  \\ \longrightarrow \sf K =  \dfrac{1}{2}  \times 50 \times  {10}^{3}  \\  \\ \longrightarrow  \boxed{ \boxed{\sf K = 25 \times  {10}^{3} \ J }}
