HEY MATE,
Here is your answer
______________________________
The monkey climbs up 10m in 1 minute and slept 2m in another.
So,in 12 minutes he climbs, 6(10) - 6(2) = 60-12 = 48m.
And, in 13 minute he climbs 10m again and reaches height of 58m and accomplishes his target.
______________________________
We are just asked when he'll reach the height so we don't need to observe 14 minute in which he'll slip 2m again.

Hope this helps!!!
