The monthly (31 days) production of petroleum from a well is 1,55,000 tons.What will be the production in a week ?

Production in 31 days = 155000

Production in 1 day = 155000 / 31 = 5000 tons

therefore production in 1 week = 5000 × 7 

= 35000 tons
