Answer:

monthly income of A person = 3x

monthly income of B person = 4x

monthly expenditure of A = 5y

monthly expenditure of B = 7y

3x+5y = 5000 ----- 1st

4x+7y = 5000 -----2nd

1st × 4

12x + 20y = 20000 ------3rd

2nd × 3

12x + 21y = 15000 ------4th

solve 3 rd and 4 th equation

12x + 20y = 20000 -( 12x + 21y = 15000)

-y = 5000

y = 5000

monthly income = x

y = -5000

sub in 2nd equation

4x+7y = 5000

4x -35000 = 5000

4x = 40000

x = 10000

monthly income of A = 3x = 30000

monthly income of B = 5x = 50000
