Given:-
- Ratio of monthly income => 7 : 3
- Ratio of saving per monthly => 13 : 9
To find:-
- Find the monthly income of both A and B.. ?
Solutions:-
- Let the monthly income of A = 7x
- Let the monthly income of B = 3x
Therefore,
- Let the ratio of saving per monthly be 13y and 9y
- Monthly saving of A = 7x - 13y
- Monthly saving of A = 3x - 9y
But, each saving Rs 1500 per months.
=> 7x - 13y = 1500 ........(i).
=> 3x - 9y = 1500 .........(ii).
Multiplying Eq. (i) by 2 and Eq. (ii) by 13. We get.
=> 14x - 26y = 3000 ........(iii).
=> 39x - 26y = 19500 .........(iv).
Subtracting Eq. (iii) from Eq. (iv), we get.
=> x = -16500/-25
=> x = 660
So,
- The monthly income of A => 7x = 7 × 660 = 4620
- The monthly income of B => 3x = 3 × 660 = 1980
Hence, the income of A and B are 4620 and 1980.
