The required table can be drawn as shown in the picture

Given:

The monthly income of a family is rupees 14400 the monthly expenditures of the family on various items are given below

Rent = 4000

Food = 5400

Clothing = 2800

Education = 1800

Savings = 400

To find:

Represent the above data in the table above like the picture

Solution:

To convert the values into fractions divide each value by the total income

=> Rent = [ 4000/14400 ] = 5/18

=> Food = [5400/14400] =  3/8

=> Clothing = [ 2800/ 14400] = 7/36

=> Education = [ 1800/14400 ] = 1/8

=> Savings = [ 400/14400] = 1/36

Now multiply each fraction by 360

=> Rent = 5/18 × 360° = 100°

=> Food = 3/8 × 360° = 135°

=> Clothing = 7/36 × 360° = 70°

=> Education = 1/8 × 360° = 45°

=> Savings = 1/36 × 360° = 10°

Hence

The required table can be drawn as shown in the picture

Answer: This is in line with the family's monthly income of 14,400 rupees, showing that they are not saving any more funds and are instead using all of their income.

Step-by-step explanation:

The table might be set up as follows:

Category Monthly Expenditure (Rupees)

Rent            4000

Food            5400

Clothing            2800

Education    1800

Savings            400

The table comprises two columns, as you can see: Category and Monthly Expense (Rupees). The second column lists the relevant amount spent for each row, which corresponds to a distinct type of spending.

By adding together all of the numbers in the Monthly Spending column, it is possible to determine the family's total monthly spending:

Overall monthly spending is 4,000 plus 5,400 plus 2,800 plus 1800 plus 400, or 14,400.
