Step-by-step explanation:

total angle = 360°

rent =  \frac{100}{360}  \times 18000 \\  = 5000

minimum expenses means less angle

clothing =  \\  \frac{14}{360}  \times 18000 \\  = 700

savings is

 \frac{106}{360}  \times 18000 \\  = 5300

Given,

Income = rs 18000

Savings = 106/360

Rent = 100/360

Food = 120/360

Clothes = 14/360

Miscellaneous = 20/360

To find,

Amount of rent paid

Item with minimum expenses and how much

Savings every month

Solution,

Total income = 18000

Percentage of rent paid = 100%

Amount of rent = 100 x 18000/360

= 1800000/360

= 180000/36

= Rs 5000

The minimum expenses = least angle measurement = Clothing = 14%

Amount spent on clothing = 14 x 18000/360

= Rs 700

Following the chart, the family saves 106 degree, so,

Amount of savings = 106 x 18000/360

= Rs. 5300

Thus, the rent paid by the family is Rs. 5000, the amount spent on clothing is Rs. 700 and the total savings is Rs. 5300.
