The monthly income of a man is 6000. He spends one fourth of it on rent, one third on
food, and saves the rest. Find the ratio of his monthly income to his monthly savings.​

monthly income = 6000

=> 6000 - 6000*1/4 - 6000*1/3

=> 6000 - 1500 - 2000

=> 2500₹ savings...

ratio from income to savings = 6000/2500

= 12/5

He spends one fourth of it on rent= 1/3×6000

= 2000 spend in saging

one third on his food= 1/3×6000= 2000

total money he spent= 2000+2000= 4000

So total savings= 6000-4000= 2000

the ratio of his monthly income to his monthly saving = 6000/2000=3000:1
