Answer:

income a : b = 50 : 40

expen a: b = 7:5

savings a = 50 -7 =43

43 = 9000

1 =9000/43

50 = 50×9000/43 =10465.11 of a

b

40-5 =35

35 =9000

1=9000/35

40 =40×9000/35=10285.71 b

Let the monthly income of A be 5x and of B be 4x and their expenditures be 7y and 5y respectively.

each save ₹9000 each

savings=income-expenditure

so,

5x-7y=9000

and

4x-5y=9000

on solving the simultaneous equation we get

-3y= -9000

therefore

y=3000

x=(9000+5y)/4

 =(9000+15000)/4

 =24000/4

 =6000

monthly income of A=6000*5

                                  =30000

monthly income of B=6000*4

                                  =24000
