Answer:Ravi-200 rupees

Sanjeev-280 rupees

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the pocket money of ravi be 5x and that of sanjeev be 7x

Similarly, expenditure be 3y and 5y

Now,5x-3y=80

And,7x-5y=80

Therefore,

5x-3y=7x-5y

We find that x=y

Lets consider another equation,

5x-3y+7x-5y=80+80

12x-8y=160

Now,x=y

Therefore,

12x-8x=160

4x=160

x=40

So,to find pocket money,the ratio is 5:7,i.e.,the money is 5x and 7x

Therefore,ravi's pocket money-200

Sanjeev's pocket money-280

Hope it helped!
