Answer:

From the question,

Monthly salary of typist is =Rs.15625

The percentage of increase in his salary =12%

Amount increase =12% of Rs.15625

=(12/100)×15625

=(0.12×15625)

=Rs.1875

∴ his new salary =Rs.15625+Rs.1875

=Rs.1750

Monthly salary=15625/-
Increase salary =12%
Salary increases =15625*12%
=15625*12/100=1875/-
Total salary =15625/-+1875/-=17500/-
