The monthly salary of Dinesh is Rs. 50,000. In the next month, his salary will be increased by 10 %. Find his new salary.

{\large{\underbrace{\underline{\bf{Answer:-}}}}} \\

Percentage of salary Dinesh gets now = 100 %

Increase in salary (in percent) = 10 %

Total salary (in percent) = 100 + 10

                                        = 110 %

New salary = \frac{Total \: salary \: (in \: percent)}{100} × Original salary

                   = \frac{110}{100} × 50000

                   = 55000

∴ Dinesh's salary will be Rs. 55,000.

Hope this helps uh! ♡

Answer :-

Percentage of salary Dinesh gets now = 100 %

Increase in salary (in percent) = 10 %

  • Total salary

↝100 + 10

↝ 110 %

New salary = Total salary (in percent) /100 × Original salary

→ 110/100 × 50000

→ 55000 Ans.
