Food = ( 1 / 10 ) x 80000 = 8000

Education = ( 1 / 8 ) x 80000 = 10000

Therefore, remaining money = 80000 - 8000 - 10000 = 62000

Books = ( 1 / 10 ) x 62000 = 6200

Therefore, amount of money left with him after expenses = 62000 - 6200

                                                                                                = 55800
